Calendar announced for this year’s Discomania

Discomania 2018 flyerMake sure you keep these dates free and get down to our inclusive disco for people with disabilities where our DJs are sure to keep you dancing throughout the night.

Discomania began in November 2007, set up by a couple of family members and supported by BDS. Funded through community grants, donations and a small fee for attendance, the program has grown from strength to strength.

The baton was handed over to BDS to run some five years ago and, in partnership with Hume City Council, we have continued this very popular event.

Originally running bi-monthly the program has become so popular it now runs monthly, generally on the 4th Friday of the month at the Broadmeadows Leisure Centre from 7.30pm to 10pm.

Often there are themes for the night, with Footy Night in September, Halloween Night in November and Christmas Formal Night in December proving very popular (see the calendar below for more details).

There is an admission fee − $15 per person and $5 for carers − which covers supper.

This is an alcohol and smoke free events for 18+ years of age participants.

Discomania is run on the premise that if you require a carer you must come with one, otherwise just turn up at 7.30 when the DJ heats up the music.
