Have you ever thought about sharing some of your skills, passions, hobbies or your valuable time with others in the community?

Do you value helping others to achieve and be actively involved and explore new experiences?

If you have some time to share with us, we would like to hear from you. Volunteers are needed to work alongside our staff to provide meaningful experiences for the people we support.

Whether you are available for a day or a few hours we would like to hear from you. In return, you will experience a supportive and fun environment and the opportunity to acquire experience in a rapidly expanding industry.

You will need to undertake a National Criminal History Check (at our expense) and undertake an induction and orientation prior to commencing with us.

BDS is a Child Safe organisation. Volunteers working with children or young people are screened and supervised.  All Volunteers must hold a valid Working with Children Check.  

Other professional development opportunities such as first aid, specific support skills training and internal professional development will also be offered.
